Necronomi.com
A personal website I made as part of my training in Hopeworks, demonstrating both my creativity and understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The site is heavily stylized in the theme of late 90s web design, including the obnoxious animated ads.
The site was essentially a creative writing project, written to be a fictional ghost hunting guide, written by a character from a game I'm working on in my free time.
This Portfolio!
This portfolio was made to be an addition to my portfolio in and of itself. I intentionally avoided using any site-building tools like wix or wordpress, and instead built my site entirely from scratch. It is hosted using inmotion on a subdomain of a family site.
I used the hosting services Cpanel interface, Github, and VScode to develop this site, and keep its files updated through the built-in version control software. It also features responsive, mobile first web design.
Hobby shop sample site Design
This sample site was designed as a template for Hopeworks web development clients that were looking for an online commerce platform. Though more specifically styled with a hobby shop in mind, the general design and layout could apply to any number of clients.
The intention of the design was to give the impression of a home grown, community focused company, to help users feel like they can be trusted to keep their best interests in mind. In order to further emphasize this, an number of areas of the site draw attention to various gaming themed events that this fictional company hosts.

Cossup C.A.R.E.E.S Site
An intial stories page design and redesign for a client while at Hopeworks, demonstrating both my general design skills and also my ability to adapt my designs to client feedback and requests.
This stories page was designed to be simple, visually appealing, and evocative by featuring the individuals impacted by this organizations work directly, while letting the organization take a background role. In this particular case, all of the individuals listed are placeholders and stock images, as we didn't recieve any details or pictures from the client to use for these concept pages.

Technology Learning Collaborative Site
A sitemap and homepage design I made at Hopeworks as part of client work for the Technology Learning Collaborative, an organization dedicated to providing education and resources on technology, as part of a goal of spreading tech literacy.
I designed the homepage to roughly resemble the design styles of edutainment games and websites, as I felt that style would present an energy of positivity and learning that would make the clients site seem inviting and enjoyable to read.

Youth Action Project Site
While at Hopeworks I was tasked with working on some subpages for the Youth Action nonprofit, as part of a site redesign for them. I was originally tasked with just the "Who we are" subpage for the About Us section, but the quality of my work led to my supervisor asking me to contribute more pages to the project.
So I ended up designing a total of three pages for this project, while adhering to the design requests and notes from the client, making sure the subpages I created didn't stray too far from the main design, yet were still more than just copy-paste clones of each other.
